Steps to reproduce:
Switch windows while playing video in PiP window on https://wgntv.com/on-air/live-streaming/
Actual results:
Default Windows' application icon is shown instead of Firefox's.
Expected results:
Firefox application icon should be displayed in Alt+Tab for PiP window.
Thanks for the bug report + screenshot Walter. At the moment, we're unable to reproduce the issue on our own machines.
@Tania - is there someone from QA that could help us reproduce + verify this issue?
Additional info:
- Still an issue in 123.0.1
- Happens on YouTube as well
- I think that browser.privatebrowsing.autostart = true is causing this
- In Settings, History is set to Never remember history

Hi,
I was out on vacation and returned today, I've asked my team to investigate this issue. We will share our assessment soon.

Hi, I was able to reproduce the issue on my side in Beta and Release, but I can't reproduce this issue in Nightly at all.
Launch Firefox.
Reach Settings.
Set History to Never Remember and Restart.
Reach https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jH_1w86Ut-w.
Enable PiP.
Use Alt + Tab to see the windows.
The Firefox icon is missing from the Pip window..

Beta 124.0b7 and Release 123.0.1
Thanks Rares!
I'm curious, were you able to find a regression range and/or determine if the issue occurs with an older version of Nightly? I find it interesting that it can only be reproduced in Beta and Release.

Yes I did reproduce it with a 124 Nightly version of Firefox, I cant get a regression range because I need to restart the build in order for the pref to take effect (browser.privatebrowsing.autostart = true), I think thats why most people were not able to reproduce it.
My guess is that its already been fixed by a different issue.
