Maybe we can add some logic to make it more user friendly/convenient in the future when needing to investigate revisions

Here, the user only needs to add the target_revision variable and the rest would be taken care of.

bit hacky, might only work for linux/mac at the moment e.g
Windows needs a bit of tinkering, no idea about android
