RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 174331

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130

Computer involved: Apple Powerbook
Setup at home: LCD in use at home only
Setup at work: LCD in addition to 19" monitor; LCD = 1280x854; CRT = 1600x1024;
LCD is on the left, CRT is positioned at about 1:30 - 2 o'clock relative to the
LCD (making the upper right of the LCD and the lower left of the CRT touch
(bottom of CRT stops about half way up the right of the LCD))

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Option 1:
1.hook CRT to powerbook (and set to appropriate resolutions, etc)
2.open new Mozilla window and set so title bar is at the top of the CRT (or at
least higher than the top of the LCD)
3.open a new Mozilla window (I had used (moved the window to the top of the CRT
and went to this web page to fill out the bug) the previous window before
opening a new window)

Option 2:
1.hook CRT to powerbook (and set to appropriate resolutions, etc)
2.open new Mozilla window and set so title bar is at the top of the CRT (or at
least higher than the top of the LCD)
3.put powerbook to sleep and unhook monitor
4.wake powerbook back up
Actual Results:
Option 1:
new window opens at same/similiar height as original window but on LCD

Option 2:
window will end up with title bar at same height as before but on the LCD (since
that is now the only monitor)

Of note: Opening the System Preferences forces the Mozilla window in both
situations to move into a "proper" location so the window can be moved by the
title bar.

Expected Results:
Window title bar should always be in a position to be able to be moved. New
windows should be created where the last/current window is (including on the
correct monitor) unless that position places the window title bar off screen.
If the window title bar will end up off screen then it should be placed with the
title bar visible on the monitor the last/current window is on. If that monitor
is not available, then the primary monitor should be used.

Theme: Orbit 3+1 1.2 0.0.6.5-dev

Will have to add comment as to whether it happens with the default theme.
Default "modern" theme works as expected.
