Typematic up/down keys do not keep up in folder pane

Steps to reproduce:
Prior to TB115, I used the up/down arrow keys to navigate quickly in the folder pane (I have multiple accounts defined in TB and many many folders in each account). Holding down the arrow keys would scroll the folder pane quickly and keep up with my holding the key.
Actual results:
Since TB115, the scrolling in the folder pane no longer keeps up with me. If I keep holding the up/down arrow keys, the position in the folder pane does NOT change until I release the key. Then, and only then, it jumps to a new, totally unpredictable position. Very disconcerting because you can no longer know where it's going to end up.
Since this no longer works as it used to, I am forced to press the keys repeatedly to scroll up or down in the folder pane.
Expected results:
Why did typematic keys no longer work in the folder pane? By the way it still works fine in the message pane. So why not in the folder pane?

Any news on this UI bug? It did not get fixed in 128, nor in 140. It's been 16 months.

This regression bug is still not fixed in 146.0.1. Any news? We are closing in on 2 years since my original report. Thanks.
