Sometimes, and I'm not quite sure why it's intermittent, a character is replaced with a space when it's deleted, and the caret is moved to the next non-space. For example 1. There are people listed Put your caret before "1". Type delete twice Your caret will now be on the T, and there will be 2 spaces before the T, instead of 1. Tested with the very latest trunk build as of Jan 9, 2003.

Is the "1. There are people listed" a <ol>? Or is it just text? Either way, I have not been able to reproduce this yet.
Just text, no markup at all.
so far i cannot repro this. reliable testcase needed. I will pull back milestone if/when we get a testcase.
