188468 - rounding problem causes gaps at certain sizes

Flipping through text zoom on http://tantek.com/map.html shows gaps at certain
zooms in the middle of the hexagons.  This seems to be a rounding problem. 
(Inconsistent rounding between two different parts of the code?)

I'll attach a testcase that shows the problem for me at any zoom level.

People have seen the problem on http://tantek.com/map.html on platforms other
than Linux (I think Mac).

Seems to work fine in Fx 2.0 and trunk; marking such.
