Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
beside they're all IRC clients, there's nothing common between these projects, language used is different, graphic toolkit too, etc.
> i was thinking about merging with the gtk version of bitchX, as bitchX is from > my point of view the best IRC client around... ..other people are hating bitchx ;) Hmm.. gtk version.. Mozilla runs on various platforms.. The win32/Mac OS mozilla doesn't use GTK.. How should bitchX run on these platforms? .. and it wouldn't be possible to create a XPI - BitchX package.. What's bad about chatzilla? (Hee.. it supports + and ! channels ;) ) invalid?
this should be moved to the newsgroups ...
it should be in the newsgroups, and I don't see there's any point in a third-party suggesting mergers anyway. if one of these other projects wants to merge with chatzilla, then it's up to them to come forward (or alternatively up to the chatzilla folks to approach them). this isn't the place to discuss it anyway, and this isn't a valid bug report.
