Besides, Iif I disable storage permission in Android system settings, Fenix won't prompt that the permission has been disabled, more strangely, I disable "Photos and videos", "music and audios" for Edge in Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro, it could still download pictures.

Tom, are you still able to reproduce this bug? What are the steps you are taking to download the image? Long pressing on the image on the page? Or a download feature of the website itself?

Hey Tom,
Could you please share a video of the bug? I can't reproduce it, maybe a screencast could help identify the problem.
If you can show the permissions screen in the video, it would be great.

I'm sorry to ask for more details again, but would you mind setting your language to english for the screenshot?

Also, could you show the permissions related to file access?
Just as a confirmation, do you have remaining space on your phone's storage?

Hey Tom, thanks for reporting this issue. In the video, it looks like you have poor internet connection. I can see the wifi is connected initially but at the end of the video, the wifi logo disappears so I'm wondering if the issue is that your wifi disconnected. Would you please confirm if this is the case and whether the issue still persists if you remain connected? Thanks

I don't think it's relevant, it also happens when I using mobile data.

I wonder if it might be something related to the website being http only (and not https).

Do you have any addons installed on Firefox, that might interfer in the download?

Could you maybe try to download Firefox Nightly on your device and see if you can still reproduce the bug?

Yes! If HTTPS-only is disabled, file could download without any problem. Could confirm on Fenix 128.0.1 and latest nightly.

Thanks for confirming. I've updated the bug's title to reflect those findings.
