User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:123.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/123.0
Steps to reproduce:
Move the Firefox window to the side of the screen with [ALT + <]. (splits the monitor horizontally and moves the active window to one side)
The bug is always gone/reset when the window is maximized!
System:
Operating System: EndeavourOS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2
Kernel Version: 6.7.9-arch1-1 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHz
Memory: 15,6 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti/PCIe/SSE2
Actual results:
The visual and actual cursor position is misaligned horizontally or vertically.
These Bugs happen not always but frequently.
- The cursor gets misaligned on the window that was moved.
- When a second split window is on the other side, the bug applies to that too
- most times the misalignment is a fixed horizontal distance as marked "x" in the image, (I don't know how to clip the pointer)
- sometimes there is also a vertical misalignment with roughly similar distance
- this is most noticeable on buttons, but applies to all elements (grabing the top bar to move the window, double clicking to maximize, hovering links, elements in the debug window)
- the visual cursor position is always down and right of the actual position
Expected results:
Visual and actual cursor should have the same position

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

So it's Plasma 6 regression, right?
