User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:123.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/123.0

Steps to reproduce:

I have two email accounts. I selected an item in the Junk folder of one account and clicked on the 'Move to Inbox' option to move the item frm the Junk folder to the corresponding Inbox.

Actual results:

The item was moved, but to the Inbox of the other account.
There, the message was shown as being sent from an unknown email address so that now I cannot easily reply to it.

Expected results:

The item should have been moved to the corresponding Inbox not a different one. And the sender's email address should be preserved.

Sounds like you have not correctly set up the Junk Settings for that account.
So please check settings:

In Account Settings
For the account which has the email you want to go to Junk: Select 'Junk Settings'
Bottom right: DEstination & Retention
Select: 'Move new junk messages to:'

If POP :
Select 'Junk folder on: and choose the account email address'

If IMAP :
Select: 'Other' and choose the 'Spam folder on the account email address' (imap accounts usually have a Spam folder)

Click on 'Global Junk Preferences' button

It opens 'Settings' > 'Privacy & Security'
In 'Junk' section
Select 'When I mark messages as junk:'
Select: 'Move them to the accounts Junk folder'
Select 'Enable adaptive junk filter logging'

Confirm each account Junk Settings have been set up correctly. So each account is using it's own Junk/Spam folder.

Are you using a Pop or an Imap account?

Many thanks for your advice, and I've checked that the account settings are appropiate.
However, the problem I have isn't the movement of incoming email to the Junk folder, rather it is the manual movement of an email that has inappriately landed in the Junk folder into the corresponding Inbox.
I now see that the option 'Move to "some place" again' is dynamic, and that there is a 'Move to >' option which gives plenty of possible destinations. I should be able to manage with all that flexibili

If email is in Junk then either select the email so it shows in Message Pane and click on the 'Not Junk' button and it should go automatically to correct Inbox. It also helps the Junk Controls to understand what is not junk.

The 'Move to Inbox again' option will select the last move to Inbox on last account you used that option.
You would need to use 'Move to' and select the correct account and then it's Inbox.
