Steps to reproduce:
While watching a vertical (not a short) video I swiped down. Simply tapping and holding the screen also produced the effect
Actual results:
The screen began rapidly flashing (many times per second) between horizontal (in the middle of the screen) and vertical orientation. The horizontal orientation took up only a part of the screen. The vertical orientation filled the space with black bars.
Expected results:
The video should transition smoothly between horizontal and vertical orientation. And should not transition at all when holding the screen down. Additionally the horizontal video should have stayed at the top of the screen in the video player instead of flashing in and out of the middle of the screen.

Hello, I'm not able to reproduce this. Would you be able to provide a link that reliably reproduces this issue you're having?

I cannot seem to reproduce this on the most recent version of Firefox (126).
Im fairly sure this was the video that caused the issue originally though

I cannot seem to reproduce this on the most recent version of Firefox (126).
In that case, I'll close this bug as "works for me" now. Thanks for reporting the original issue in 122 and testing 126!
