When I search for anything in a mail folder, all the Mozilla windows freeze until the search is over. It would be great to run search in a separate thread. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click on a mail folder with several hundred messages. 2. Search for any keyword 3. Wait...
sounds like a dup of bug 127398, fixed on the trunk on Nov. 23rd.
Reporter: what kind of account are you using and what criteria did you use in your search? Again, there have been some search fixes since the build in which you reported the problem. Please try in a current build and if still happening, reopen the bug and give a bit more detail. Thanks.
