Hi Brendan,
Boilerplate reminder, for access requests we ask that you review these instructions on wikimo, and please utilize the template linked as it gets all the details that we need.
That said, do you know which teams you may need access to for that repo? If you know that, then we can needinfo the maintainer for approval.

I'm not sure. I was told @whd and @jgibbs were owners of the repo. Potentially I could reach out to them. Ideally we could get the entire ads-engineering team access to this repo. If you want I can reach out to them directly?

Ah. So, would the ask then be for the ads engineering team in mozilla-it to have some level of access here?
So, assuming the answer to that is yes, what level of access were you looking for?
And certainly :whd and :jgibbs are admins here, so NI'ing them in for their thoughts and approvals here.

Yes, I probably should have included the entire ads eng team in my request. I think we would just need view access for now. The main reason for access is just to understand how things are setup/configured.

OK, so let's amend the request to adding the ads-engineering team to the mozilla-it/dataservices-infra repo, at the read level?
If :jgibbs or :whd can approve this, I'm happy to do it. (and being admins they can can do it, or if need be, increase/decrease permission levels later.)

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1885964#c2 strikes again. I have handled this request. Since I don't think we've managed to document it anywhere yet: the policy for the gcpv2 infra repos is that it's always permissible for dev teams to have write access to repos, and we leverage CODEOWNERS on specific namespaces to grant teams elevated write access to their infrastructure.

OK, we'll endeavor to remember this - though perhaps a blurb in the README on access granting might prevent us GHE admins from pestering as much. Thank you.
