Steps to reproduce:

Good morning,
After switching to beta version 125 (Thunderbird 125.0b1), i encounter a problem when opening an email in a new tab.
Previously, Thunderbird automatically went to the newly opened tab.
Now the display remains on the main screen (column of mailboxes and list of emails).

is there a solution ???

You can set the pref mail.tabs.loadInBackground to false
