Preconditions

  • Have multiple saved logins

Affected Version:

  • Firefox 123.0.1 (64-bit)

Affected Platforms:

  • MacOS 14.1 (23B2073)

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to about:logins.
  2. Press the "+" button to create a login
  3. Click on the username input field.
  4. Use the Down arrow key to navigate to the last item in the dropdown.
  5. Press the Down arrow key once more.
  6. Observe the dropdown's behavior.
  7. Return to the first item, then press the Up arrow key.
  8. Observe the dropdown's behavior.

Actual Results:

  • At step 6, pressing the Down arrow key redirects the focus to the start of the list without selecting any username.
  • At step 8, pressing the Up arrow key makes no adjustments to the dropdown, and no username is selected.

Expected Results:

  • At step 6, the interface should advance to and select the first username entry.
  • At step 8, the interface should backtrack to and select the last username entry.

Hi,

I can reproduce the behavior described in Release 124.0.1, Beta 125.0b5 and the latest Nightly 126.0a1 build, but I'm not sure if this behavior is intended or not. I will set this ticket as new and waiting for the developer's opinion about it.

Thanks for your report.
