Steps to reproduce:
Update to Firefox 124.0.1 on Linux, I'm using the apt version.
Write something in your address, like "example", then press CTRL+Enter.
Actual results:
It redirects me to google.com search results for "example".
Expected results:
It should instead go to example.com which has always been the default behavior for this key combination as described in the docs here (under Miscellaneous):
