:gregp could you consider nominating this for a release note? (Process info)
We could include it in the nightly release notes.

Do we usually do release notes for platform stuff? My current understanding is that
- The
relnote-firefoxflag is for the main release notes, and that platform changes are not included in the main release notes. - This change will be added to the Firefox release notes for developers as part of documenting this API on MDN.
Has something changed?

We include platform changes for web developers in the release notes.
To see if you want to nominate anything here, look at the Web Platform section in the following release notes examples:

Release Note Request (optional, but appreciated)
[Why is this notable]:
New static URL method
[Affects Firefox for Android]:
Yes
[Suggested wording]:
Unlike the URL constructor, which throws when parsing fails, the static URL.parse() method instead returns null.

Thanks, added to the Fx126 nightly release notes, please allow 30 minutes for the site to update.
Keeping the relnote-firefox flag as ? to keep it on the radar for inclusion in the final Fx126 release notes.
