Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enter a hostname in the URL bar, e.g.: “firefox”.
  2. Hit Ctrl + Enter.

Actual results:

The content of the URL bar is being searched using the default search engine, e.g.: Google.

Expected results:

The URL should have been completed by adding “.com” at the end.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Address Bar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
