On Nightly (at least starting with 126.0a1 (2024-03-27)) the text cursor (both in web pages and in the chrome) continues to blink as I type text after focusing a text input. This is surprisingly problematic! For instance, if I hold down a left or right arrow key to seek the cursor to a particular position, for a portion of that time it disappears so I don't know when to stop. As I typed this bug report I realized that it does resume normal (non-blinking) behavior after a little while (by my timing, 12 seconds). This seems to be the same blinking behavior as idle. I.e., if I click in a text box and don't type anything, the cursor blinks for 12 seconds then goes solid.
I originally thought I was remembering something incorrectly (though it felt off), but I just confirmed that in Release this does not happen: when I type text just after focusing a text input, the cursor remains solid.
I doubt this is architecture specific, but I imagine it very well might be Linux (GTK) specific.
Also I'm really unsure which component is appropriate for this.
