This is a strange one, but I've noticed in recent nightly builds that the
default form widget font has changed size. In earlier builds it's much smaller
(around 11pts, I think) - I just downloaded the 2002122004 build to confirm.

In more recent nightly builds, however, I've noticed the font size for form
widgets is much larger (around 14 pts). This makes the form widgets big and
ugly. I'll attach some screen captures so you can see the difference.

Can this be remedied?

Yea, I noticed this too. Need to find the actual build this regressed.

The regression happened on the 2003-01-09-04 NB since the previous build
(2003-01-08-04) didn't display form elements in this larger font size.

We changed the default screen resolution from ~82 to 96dpi.

I think there is anyway a problem, no matter the size you are choosing or the
font, the form elements are always bigger than the text, something like 2 or 3
points more.

Look at that page, the form elements are huge compared to the text.
Is it normal ? Why do we have that only in Chimera ?

I would have to agree. I've hacked the form.css file and I noticed that the
settings are in points instead of pixels, which is part of the reason the font
size is so wacky.

Form elements should look similar to how they did before the resolution change.
Couldn't we get a tweak of the form.css file for this, please?
