Steps to reproduce:

Nothing in particular. It happened first when i tried to connect to a personnal account on a website (knivesandtools.com), then when purchasing something on another website (maxicoffee.com) and happened again on bugzilla...

Actual results:

A weird counter appears on the bottom left corner of the screen and goes up to 49... Very quickly (in a timespan of 1 or 2 seconds) then disappears. No other impact than it being displayed. Apps aren't slowed down, my antivirus Bitdefender find no threat... I thought it was a bug of screenshots but the icons are not the same and nothing happens whan i tap on said counter.

This is the UI of Clipboard of Android 13.

It will be shown when some content (in your screenshot : "49" ) was copied to clipboard.

Thanks, I suppose that if it's juste the clipboard there's nothing to worry about...
But it's still super strange, as it shows without any action from me, and counts up from 1 to 49 every single time, in like 1 or 2 seconds.
When I tap on the thumbnail, as for editing the copied datas, the lockscreen appears and anything I had in the clipboard is deleted (I can't even paste the 49 wich last appeared in the thumbnail).
Should say I went on Bugzilla because this bug only appears when I use Firefox.

I'm not sure why , but it is really unusual.

When I tap on the thumbnail, as for editing the copied datas, the lockscreen appears and anything I had in the clipboard is deleted (I can't even paste the 49 wich last appeared in the thumbnail).

Normally , when you click on the text (in your screenshot: "49") in the bubble , it will show an editor UI. In the UI it will show the source application (like it will show From: Firefox) of the content.

Have you tried open these sites with other browsers on the same device?

In classic use, copying a number or text, clicking the bubble does indeed open the editor, it works well. But in this precise case, when I click the bubble (displaying 49) the screen locks itself, and nothing is stored in the clipboard anymore (neither the 49, nor previous data I could have copy).

The bug appears only with Firefox, I tried Chrome and nothing happens. With other apps (banking, Insta...) nothing happens either.

Hey orrtix, are you still experiencing this problem? Is it happening only on this website or on other pages as well? As Jacky pointed out this is the Android UI showing that something was added to your clipboard which could have happened on the originating website as I can not think of anything else that could be causing this behavior.

Hi Jeff,
I got an update of my Android OS, but I'm still experiencing the problem. I should say that it's not causing any arm (for what I can tell) but still weird an makes no sense.
It happened on several websites, but also on some apps requiring a login.
I use Dashlane to connect automatically, it could be the source of the bug BUT sometimes it doesn't recognize the fields, does'nt fill them automaticaly so I have to login the old way. Even then (so no link with Dashlane) the counter appears.
