Periodically, I get a Completely greyed Out Progress Dialog
when doing a download from any site.

I get the Grey dialog about once every 40-50 downloads.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select "Save Link target As" contextual menu
2. Dialog body is displayed as a 50% grey with no text
or progress bar. The Title bar of the progress dialog
shows the percent downloaded as normal.
3. Other subsequent downloads may or may bnot be greyed out

Actual Results:
restarting Mozilla restores normal operation

Expected Results:
The dialog should always be displayed normally

pink, this smells like that mailnews bug you filed....
first seen this in early december os x nighlies.
looks like it can affect almost any ui element.

the bug mentioned in comment #2 is bug 181293.
another duplicate still marked as new is bug 184972.
my trunk build from 10/29 shows this probably 5% of the time i open any new
window. it can happen to anything, but usually it's a html content area.
I'm experiencing the same bug in a truly random fashion, it can happen to
anything, progress window, menubar, pref window.., but usually it's a html
content area. (Mac OS X 10.2.3, Mozilla 1.2.1).

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 181293 ***
