Could be an interesting approach for Gecko on OS X. Would bring an alternative
to KHTML, and allow developers to harness Gecko as easily as they can webcore.

Anyone?
Granted this is a somewhat similar idea behind Chimera. OmniWeb plans to use
webcore as a rendering engine in future releases, if Gecko could be made
compatible, browsers could easily have an option to choose your rendering
engine. Would be real cool IMHO.

At this stage in the game (trying to get attention/momentum) you want to post in
the newsgroups. This bug is not likely to get noticed by too many people (of
whom some may be interested in the idea).
This isn't a very good RFE bug. It just references some newsgroup postings,
makes some other ambiguous statements, and is short on specifics.
