In bug 1876432 we added a color-input component for use in the reader view. It was built with the intention of being reusable, so if we find other places where it could be useful we should consider migrating it to toolkit and and making it a moz-/design system compliant reusable component. If we decided to do that we can convert this task to a meta bug for tracking the work involved.
