Steps to reproduce:
I use Thunderbird for both my personal and my work email accounts. It is very easy to have an email message emanate from the wrong account when composing a new message.
Actual results:
The email message gets sent out with the wrong return address and from the wrong email account. So, for example, personal messages could end up in the work server.
Expected results:
My request is to add a new option in the account settings to set the border of the message composer to a distinct color (not seen by the recipient). So for example, personal messages might appear with a blue border and the work message with a red border, when first composing the message.

Hi, thanks for the request.
Unfortunately we won't implement this as we don't want to be too visually aggressive with changing the color of windows and sections depending on the account color.
We already implemented a color indicator to the side of the account used as the "From" field, so that should be enough.

I can understand not wanting to clutter things visually. Consider, however, the many scenarios where mixing business and personal life inadvertently could become embarrassing or even catastrophic. Presumably not in yours, but in other people's lives. For example, work accounts are often not private, with supervisors allowed to read them even if they were not addressed. My suggestion is to make it an option in the account settings. Let the user decide, for something this potentially important.
