1890420 - firefox does not shutdown properly

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0

Steps to reproduce:

Shut down firefox. Click on Quit.

Actual results:

The window closes, but when I do a ps -xa I see firefox still running.
Also when it closes the window it does not save any new bookmarks.

Expected results:

Firefox should have stopped running and I should not loose my new bookmarks.
Also I noticed this happens after leaving firefox running for a few days.
My version is 115.9.1esr

The issue is happening on my main machine. I am going to do as you suggest on my test machine
and see if the bug still happens.
One other thing. This seems to be time related. It does not happen right away. I can open
and close firefox and it will work properly. But after running firefox (Firefox window
stays open for a week or more) for a week or two then it happens. I will add more info
after I do as you suggest, but it is going to take some time.

Here you go. So far since I opened the bug I have had no issues. Look like this is
something that is time related, or very intermittent.

I have an update. I ran firefox for about a day and a half. I closed it using the quit. It closed properly and did not leave
the process running. It also saved all the bookmarks I added within the past day. Very weird, very intermittent, and very
hard to reproduce.
