selecting multiple messages and pressing the delete button or he del key on the keyboard it only marks them as read it does not delete them, to delete them have to do them individually

Steps to reproduce:
select a message in inbox
using the shift or control key select additional messages
press the del button in the application or in the keyboard
all messages selected are marked as read not deleted
Actual results:
marked selected messages as read
Expected results:
selected messages should be deleted

I can't reproduce on Daily 126.0a1 (2024-04-09)
For me, all selected msgs are both marked as read and deleted.
I'm using IMAP mark-as-deleted. What protocol and deletion settings do you have?
I quit the application and when i restarted I could no longer replicate the problem. Do not know what happen on the previous session. thanks for the response, jorge
