Prerequisites

Enable the Translations feature via nimbus.cli.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a page with articles, to enable the reader mode, like wikipedia.org - Deutsch.
2. Tap on the reader mode icon, and observe the behavior of the reader mode and translations icons.
3. Tap again on the reader mode icon, and observe the behavior of the reader mode and translations icons.

Expected behavior

The transition is smooth for both icons, like on Desktop; without glitches.

Actual behavior

The transition is not smooth, there are visual glitches - please see the attached short video.

Device information

• Firefox version: Nightly 126.0a1 from 4/12
• Android devices: Xiaomi mi8 Lite (Android 10), Google Pixel 6 (Android 14), Lenovo tablet (Android 10)

Should be fixed by 1889240. Could you verify that's still reproducible in 128 please?

Still reproducible on today's Nightly 128.0a1 (6/10) with Google Pixel 6 (Android 14), and Lenovo TB X606X (Android 10).
