Steps to reproduce:

Call http://www.mozilla.org/directory.

Actual results:

The URL redirects to https://www.mozilla.org/de/directory/ and returns a 404 error.

Expected results:

If no German translation is currently available, you should be redirected to the original English page.

There is no original English page to redirect to here. /directory does not exist, so it should always return a 404.

The 404 page is shown in German for you since I'm presuming that is your preferred language.

If that is the case, then this bug should probably be closed as invalid.

I must have jumped to the wrong conclusion regarding the translation, assuming that there was a page under the URL mentioned.

If you open a new report under Bugzilla, it is necessary to select the corresponding product. The product "Directory" is listed under "Other products". The explanatory text refers to http://www.mozilla.org/directory for further information.

This URL has not existed in at least 10 years by my estimation. Please file a bugzilla bug if you would like to see the product listing updated.
