Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:126.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/126.0

Steps to reproduce:

I am using Firefox Nightly 126.0a1 (2024-04-04) (64-bit)

I have noticed this bug after recently reinstalling windows and setting up a new firefox profile to have a clean start after having other unrelated issues. You be the judge as I have know idea how to even describe this bug. It looks like elements of the page change shades whenever I am typing in a text field. Happens on Reddit and Youtube, but I think I noticed it in Discord too.

Component: Untriaged → Graphics
Product: Firefox → Core

This looks like it may have been a regression from the initial landing of bug 1888400, which landed on 2024-04-03 (and so your Nightly would potentially be affected).

That patch was backed out a few days later, and subsequently a fixed version was re-landed. So the first thing to try would be to update to the most recent Nightly.

Could you confirm whether you still see the problem in a current version of Nightly? Thanks.
