Does it crash or only freeze/hang? If crash: Can you please inclide a talkback ID. Possible dup of bug 169777 Can you try this: -quit mozilla (and quickstart, if running) -rename or delete the file XUL.mfl in your profile directory -restart Any change?

John Kinsella, is this bug still an issue for you? Have you tried the suggestion in comment 1? Have you upgraded to a more current build (1.3 or 1.4) of Mozilla?
