Prerequisites

Make sure to activate the translations feature from Nimbus.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a page in an unsupported language (like https://rockfm.ro).
2. From the three-dot menu, select the “Translate page”.
3. Choose a language from the dropdown menu.
4. Tap the “Translate” button.
5. Observe the behavior.

Expected behavior

The page remains untranslated, and the 'Translate' button is deactivated.

Actual behavior

The page remains untranslated and the 'Translate' button is activated. After tapping on the "Translate" button, the translate icon is filled in the search bar.

Hi, thank you for the report! This behavior sounds as intended based on this Figma area.

The reason is we sometimes may detect the page language incorrectly, so the user may change the language and try to translate. For example, we may detect a page as one language, but it really was another language. The translation will not go through if the language selected does not match the page language, but will attempt and likely go into the translated state. It will try to run the page through the translation models, but there are no changes, since it isn't the correct language.
