Details

Update verify ensures that a MAR applies correctly and results in the same state as a fresh install of the same version. For example: that 124.0.1 with a 125.0.1 MAR applied to it is the same as a 125.0.1 DMG. We do not test this for pkg builds, which means the MARs could theoretically end up in a bogus state, or even not apply at all, and we likely wouldn't notice.
