Since a few versions of Thunderbird Daily, I have noticed that the e-mail address is also displayed next to the sender's name. However, this is too much information for screen readers. On the one hand, too much space is taken up on the Braille display, and on the other hand, too much information is announced.
Steps to reproduce
- Navigate in the message list using the arrow keys.
Result
The sender is displayed as something like: “Ali Savas <ali-savas@gmx.de>”
Expected
Only the name specified as the sender should be displayed. In my case only “Ali Savas”

See bug 243258. You can change to your preferred format under "Message List" in the settings.

OK, I didn't know that this was a new setting. Maybe next time I should just check if there is a setting for this. :)
