Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:125.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/125.0

Steps to reproduce:

On Facebook: attempt to do a jpg or video upload via drag and drop.

On Gdrive: start from Gmail, navigate to Gdrive. Attempt to upload a file of any size.

Actual results:

On Facebook: jpg or video image momentarily appears.
Half the time, after a second or so, Facebook issues an "Ooops, something went wrong" error message
100% of the time, the jpg/video isn't uploaded.

On Gdrive: when navigating to Gdrive, as the page is loading it presents a "The server encountered an error loading your apps. Please try again later" message. A few seconds later, another message shows up: "There were some problems loading your apps." when dragging/dropping a file for upload, the upload popup says "starting upload" but in fact nothing happens.

This is 100% repeatable, just started with the 125.0.2 (64 bit) update.

The features work as expected with the Edge browser.

Expected results:

On Facebook: the jpg/video should have uploaded as expected.

On Gdrive: the file upload should start and complete.

Running Win10 Pro 64 bit with all the latest updates. Rebooted system and symptoms persisted.
When doing comparison runs on Edge browser, some popup/notification messages (basically harmless alerts) that didn't show up on Firefox. Sorry, they were transient and I didn't get any screen shots. Can't seem to get them to show up again as I acknowledged them in Edge.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video: Playback' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
