Uninstall of Mozilla left many components behind. Manual uninstall of all components followed by new install solved problem. Not clear whether bug is in Mozilla or Open Office. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open email. 2. Select print option either by button or pull down. 3. Actual Results: Program froze. Expected Results: Printed document.
can you close Mozilla, rename XUL.mfl to XUL.bak (in the profile directory) and restart Mozilla ?

Reporter, Version 1.2 is pretty old, could you please retest with a newer version either the latest milestone or a recent nightly ?
