User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030106 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030106 There should be some way to configure a filter so that it does not beep when I get a message that will be deleted. There are at least some filters (if not all) that I am sure enought that I want to delete the message that I don't even want to know that I have recieved a message at all. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create a filter to delete all messages with the word kazoo in the subject 2. send yourself a message with the word kazoo from another account 3. when the message arrives, mozilla will inform you that you have new mail (which IMHO is the wrong behavior) Actual Results: my computer beeps (\a) in linux and informs me that I have new mail under xp. Expected Results: it should have silently deleted the message, made the trash folder bold and incremented the number of deleted messages.
