textarea tag will not erase old cursor, if javascript action is triggered

look at the url above. write something into the form and then move cursor. then
you'll see that the old cursor is still there.
this wont happen if the javascript is removed from the page
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open the url
2. add some text to the textarea
3. move cursor (with keyboard or mouse) the old cursor is still there
Actual Results:
old cursor is not deleted
Expected Results:
delete the old cursor :)))
check with IE if you dont get it :P

attachment 109811 [details] provides another test case, which i can use reproduce using
1.4 rc2 if i switch fields quickly.

note in all cases 3 things have to be present
- javascript event handler in field
- javascript changes value of another field
- css other than default applied to field
