Steps to reproduce:

In Ubuntu 24.10 Oracular enter any accented vowel fro Italian keyboard: nothing happen, no character written on screen. Other characters like !$%&/()... from Italian keyboard are correctly written. Accented vowels are correctly written in other applications outside Firefox

Actual results:

no character written entering accented vowels on Italian keyboard

Expected results:

accented vowels should appear on screen

Hm, I wonder if that may be a font issue or so? If other char work but only one is broken it looks like so...

Doing some test i found accented vowels are correctly written in some applications but not in others. By example are ok with gted but bot in libreoffice. Will do some other test. thanks.
