Steps to reproduce:
Why, when having multiple email accounts, do I have to scroll several lines to the top every time I switch from one account's inbox to another? Why doesn't it happen automatically? Is there a setting for this? I use sorting by date, newest at the top.
Actual results:
I select the inbox list and have to scroll several lines to see the first item in the list (according to the applied sorting). It's annoying, especially when there are multiple accounts.
Expected results:
I select the inbox list, and the first message in the list (according to the applied sorting) should be visible.

If you show messages in Threads, it might be linked to bug 1819207 ?
