User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0

Steps to reproduce:

I have circa 20 Keywords (German "Schlagwörter") defined and use it for organising my mail. I use IMAP-Servers ( of google, 1Blu, gmx and a small company). On other devices, I use this accounts with another Thunderbird Client and an independent E-Mail-Client.
Until last year, the Keywords have been shown in all Client applications and changes in one would sync to the other clients. Even a Keyword name change was synced. In 2024 this function don't work any longer.
Verison 115.11.0 (32-Bit) Window 7

Actual results:

Out of the sudden, sync of keywords didn't work any longer. Because I didn't notice it at the first glance, I cannot attribute it to a particular update.
However, working with more than one device is seriously impaired. The bug may force me to search for another E-Mail Client after 10+ years because I now have a tablet for reading.
Bug appeared before or with the new feature showing Keywords below the folders and E-Mail accounts.

Expected results:

The keyword should sync via IMAP. I think they are conveyed as "tags" in the mail header, but I am not sure.

They are not in headers, but specified as commands to the imap server.
Is it the same for all your servers? All servers do not support custom keywords.

Component: Untriaged → Networking: IMAP
Product: Thunderbird → MailNews Core

Yes, it was the same for all servers.
When I checked it a moment ago, it worked again, but only with another client, Essential-PIM, which could read the keywords generated with Thunderbird and show them as tags. This works the other way round too, but changing the name of a keyword is not reliably transferred.
Thunderbird on Windows 11 shows only the first 5 Keywords. When I change one of these on Win 7 it is changes on Win 11.

Thank you for your time.
After the EPIM Client failed, I installed Thunderbird on Win 11 Tablet, so I didn't notice that it worked again.
