Details
Steps to reproduce:
This happens to me on Ubuntu 24.04 (using Wayland) with the Thunderbird Snap package version 115.11.0. Let's assume it's morning or afternoon wherever your time zone happens to be:
- Create a new all day event for tomorrow. Name it "Missing Reminder".
- Set a reminder for "Zero minutes before event starts". Save the event.
- Do not close Thunderbird. Leave it running. When you're done working for the day put your PC into suspend/hibernation.
- The next day awaken your PC and the reminder will not pop up. You can close Thunderbird, reopen it, then the reminder will pop up.
Actual results:
No reminder pops up
Expected results:
Reminder pops up

And it's specific to the snap version?
Component: Untriaged → Alarms
Product: Thunderbird → Calendar
Summary: Thunderbird Snap Package Missing Reminders → no reminder shown after computer back from sleep

And it's specific to the snap version?
This also happens with the Flatpak, but does not occur with the .deb package.
