Steps to reproduce:

  1. In Thunderbird, click "+ New Message" or select "Reply"/"Reply All"/"Forward"
  2. Compose message/replay/forwarding message.
  3. After composing message, click the "Send" Button.
  4. Close Thunderbird.
  5. Re-open Thunderbird (even after system shutdown-power up transition).

Actual results:

  1. During the same session as the message is composed and sent, the draft version disappears from "Drafts" and appears in "Sent".
  2. After exiting Thunderbird and later re-opening Thunderbird, the "Draft" folder appears in BOLD, and the last draft version auto-saved to the drafts folder appears in "Drafts" while the final sent version appears in "Sent".
    NOTE: this most often happens when it takes more than 3-5 minutes to compose a message/reply/forwarding message.

Expected results:

"Drafts" should be empty and the sent message appear in "Sent" folder.
