Steps to reproduce:
- Run Thunderbird Beta (127.0b3 (64-bit)) on Windows 10.
- Use default layout density and default text size (12px).
- Use Card view in message list.
Actual results:
Email subject line is slightly cut off/truncated from the bottom, most noticeable on the letter "g".
Expected results:
No text truncation.
Some combinations of text sizes and layout densities do not cause the text to be truncated but the default combination does.

Hello,
I have tried to reproduce this issue with the affected build 127.0b3(20240522162538) using Window 10(64-bit) and managed to reproduce it.
However not with the default density and text size(12px).
While fiddling with the Density(Compact) and text size, the email subject gets truncated at size 13px while with 14, 15, 16 size, it does not. link
With Density on Default the email subject gets truncated at size 16 px while with 18, 19, 20 size, it does not. link
Also I have noticed that not all email subjects (that contains the letter “g” in our case) gets truncated .
Same behaviour on 115.13.0(20240702193403), 128.0esr(20240703144221), 129.0a1(20240708095150)
Looks like this got fixed on bug 1913807.
