Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the main menu
  2. While the main menu is open, arrange for some external "account state" event - eg, change the password on another device.

Expected:

  • The new account state is reflected in the already open menu
    Actual:
  • It is not.

This also impacts things immediately after starting - if you open the menu before the account manager has warmed up, then once the account manager learns the new state, the menu does not reflect it.

According to jon this is a regression, although I've not attempted to locate the bug which regressed it.
