Details

./mach run command has an argument called --app for selecting the app to run. Currently, this only works for geckoview_example app which is also the default value. Looking at the code for the command, it looks like it is very old and we need to revisit to be able to install and launch Fenix/Firefox (and possibly Focus) applications.

This is more or less the same thing as bug 1883086.
