[Prerequisites]:

• Have following prefs set:
  • browser.search.region = US
  • nimbus.debug = true
  • browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.asrouter.devtoolsEnabled = true

[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Open the browser using the profile from the prerequisites.
2. Enroll in any of the treatment branches of the experiment (eg: treatment-a).
3. Trigger the Firefox View callout message using asrouter or naturally.
4. Click on the additional dropdown button and select the "Don't show this recommendation again" option.
5. Navigate to about:asrouter#devtools and search for the "FX_VIEW_DISCOVERABILITY_EARLY_DAY_USERS" message.
6. Observe the message.

[Expected result]:

• The message is blocked.

[Actual result]:

• The message is NOT blocked.

Sorry about that, recipe had incorrect nesting for the block message action from a refactor. Both recipes should be fixed, can you please re-verify that the message is being successfully blocked? Thanks!

Thank you Negin for updating the recipes.

I have verified this issue using both recipes on Firefox Release 126.0.1 (Build: 20240526221752), Firefox RC 127.0 (Build ID: 20240603152359) and the latest Nightly 128.0a1 (Build ID: 20240604210423) on Windows 10 x64, macOS 14.4.1 and Linux Mint 20.1 x64.

• The Firefox View callout message is correctly blocked after the "Don't show this recommendation again" option is clicked.

Considering this I will mark the issue as Verified - Fixed.
