Trunk build 2003-01-17: MacX Overview: Type a series of lines in a compose window, highlight some text and immediately move the cursor to the formatting toolbar. Actual Results: More text is highlighted instead of retaining the original selection. Interesting...after highlighting the text, if I wait a little bit and then move the cursor to the formatting toolbar then the problem does not occur so it appears to be a timing issue. Expected Results:Only the text that I originally highlighted should remain selected. Additional Information: - This problem also occurs in a New Message window.
Marking nsbeta1 since this is a regression and is very annoying.

I can't reproduce this marking it editor base - until we get a good test case here.

ninoschka, is this still a problem for you? i cannot repro this on Mac OS 10.2.5, win2k or linux rh8.0, with today's (or thursday's) builds.
