If we can work it in, it would be cool to have a page in the wizard that allows
the user to customize the build's skins. At the moment, skins are somewhat
primitive compared to what's planned. However, we can do an implementation
based on what's there and then think about how to adapt to changes.
The main idea is to have a small number of interesting skins available on the
CCK CD and allow the customizer to choose one of those or import one of their
own. The chosen skin would then overwrite all the
chrome/<component>/skin/default contents of each component. This is about 400
gifs and 20 css files, but it's a straightforward extension of what's already
working in the install builder.

We plan to implement skins as a end user customizable feature. Therefore, this
decreases the value of a distributor setting the skin. For RTM, there will be a
button on the main chrome or a menu option to switch skins.
Besides, our target audience (small ISPs) do not have graphic artists to create
a ISP branded skin. They would basically have to choose one from Netcenter and
include it with the build. In the end, the end user can change it immediately
after discovering the skin button on the Seamonkey chrome.
