User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 This is the home page of the city Montabaur in Germany. The start page (contains only an intro image which should be clicked to get to the main page) is shown ok, but if you click on the intro image, Mozilla either does not proceed to the main page or takes very long for it. While you're waiting, whole Mozilla is blocked. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. visit www.montabaur.de 2. click on the image 3. Actual Results: Mozilla hangs/needs very long. Expected Results: Proceed to the main page. Maybe it's a Java problem - the main page has three Java applets. But Opera has no problem proceeding to the main page, although it uses the same Java plugin.
cannot test page right now, can you upgrade to JRE 1.4.1_01 ? Does it also happen with latest nightly build ? http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest-trunk
Works for me: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030116 Java 1.4.1
wfm with win2k build 20031021.. and JRE 1.4.1_01 marking wfm Please reopen if you get the crash with the latest JRE from SUN.
